Ken Wolf is a veteran theatre professional with over 35 years in the industry as a producer, director, dramaturge, and playwriting coach. He is the Artistic Director of Manhattan Repertory Theatre, where he and his partner Jennifer Pierro have produced more than 1,000 full-length plays and 6,000 short works in the past two decades. An accomplished playwright and director, Ken has written 20 produced plays and directed over 130 productions in New York City, including the Off-Broadway premiere of POWERHOUSE by David Harms. His acclaimed one-man show THE PEOPLE IN MY HIPS was praised as “extraordinary” and “unlike any theatre piece I have ever seen.” Ken is also the host of The Playwriting Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Audible, and the author of five books on playwriting. Jennifer Pierro is a New York-based Italian American actress, writer, director, and producer, and a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Trained at HB Studio under Broadway veteran Jeanne Kaplan, Jen’s work spans Off-Broadway, regional theatre, film, and TV. Notable stage credits include POWERHOUSE, RAWSHOCK, and the upcoming solo show MEN. She co-wrote and starred in the award-winning short film SWITCH, and her TV appearances include All My Children and Guiding Light. Jennifer is also Co-Founder and Executive Director of Manhattan Repertory Theatre, and the creative force behind the children’s book and audio series Roma’s Adventures.
